Great carne asada. N the service was great. Would recommend to my friends m family.

My wife and I are from Vancouver, BC, Canada. We've tried many mexican restaurants, but we've never had anything this flavorful! The service was quick, and attentive. The food surpassed our expectations. The place is in need of an update, but it's easy to get to off the hwy. Wish we could take this place back to Van with us! Highly recommend!

Delicious food and nice size portions. This was our first time eating here and through take out. Enchilada plates came with avocados and sour cream, yummy! Friendly fast service.

Had much better. If u get common tacos or simple plater its ok. I think the beer was the best

The food is good, but the service has went down . When you ask for plates, or even “platos” for your appetizer so you aren’t hovering over one plate with your people, it makes you think: what language do these men even speak? I’m not going to insult their inteligence but I will leave a one star rating. The guy behind the counter argued with my mother about her not feeling like the service was good? Also when asked for our orders to go, one was wrong? The food burned through the styrofoam.

Stopped for lunch on our way from Durango to Dolores. Good food. I had pork tacos. Quite good. My companion had the enchilada and tamale combo. Both were excellent with lots of shredded beef in the enchilada and nicely spiced pork filling in the large tamale. We ate on the patio which was pleasant on a summer afternoon. The dining room seemed comfortable too. Clean restrooms.

We stayes in Mancos and decided to try food here since we were craving Mexican food. My boyfriend and I are Mexican and have eaten all kinds of Mexican food both in Mexico and U.S. Let me tell you! We approved! He had a quesadilla with carne asada and I had a burrito with carne asada, beans, and rice. The salsa was delicious and spicy good! The meat was so tasty!

Let's start with the service, which was pretty bad. To start we were seated for 20+ minutes, order cheese dip and our dinner, got our cheese dip and ate most of it before our drinks arrived. I asked the female waitress about our waters since our waiter was MIA (I think he was also doing the register) and she said, "did you order them?"..."yes" I replied and she said "well then they are coming". Hum, somewhat rude, good customer service would have said I am sorry for the delay and will check on them. As far as the order goes, they messed up 4 of the 6 plates, no meat on the nachos, no cheese on the tacos, no side avocado, brought soft tacos vs crispy tacos, etc. Food was marginal, if we were local we would probably not visit it again. Oh well, passing thru and wish them well and very shocked at the current rating...maybe they were having an off night?

Excellent food. Good size helpings. Shouldn't leave hungry.

The staff is great and never had bad service. The quality and quantity of the food is wonderful. My aunt from the Denver area makes a point of eating here when she's on this side of the mountains.

About the only place to get a meal served to you in mancos. Pleasant servers and good meals.

Nice restaurant to stop in and get a bite. The town is very little and the residents are friendly. Quick and friendly staff.

I'm so glad we happened to stop here for lunch. On our 5 week tour, THIS was the best meal we had, hands down!!

Waitress was not good at all. Took forever for everything, never got refills on drinks or salsa. Our order was messed up. Overcharged for things we didn't order. Wouldn't recommend.

Food is edible but not particularly tasty. Service is fine. Restrooms are kept very nice and clean.

Chicken Fajitas special for 10.95 was good. Service was so-so.

Fresh, homemade Mexican food! We had the tostada con seviche and the chili rellanos. Both were excellent. Fair prices, healthy portions, very well made food, excellent service!

The waiters were great and the food was even better. After a long day we decided to eat out rather than PB&Js. Right call. The carne asada tacos were delicious, the carnitas platter was an amazing recommendation and my youngest filled up on fresh guacamole. And dessert... so good. Definitely get the fresh churros!

Great Tex Mex presentation with the same staff year after year. Chicken strips and burger might be temporary for kids but it's not their specialty. Floutas might be a reasonable trial for adventuresome kids.

Amazing food best Mexican in the Cortez Mancos Dolores area

Went for lunch, they had horrible service waited about 35 minutes just to get a menu and we were about to leave an the waiter finally noticed us. We were already aggited about it so we just got food to go

Was here awhile back but still recall how good the food was. There were 6 of us and we all had great Mexican food. The next time we go to Mesa Verde, we will be stopping here agsin.

We had to wait for a bit, but let me tell you... it was way worth it. I found it better than most Mexican food restaurants that I am accustomed to back in Texas, and that says a lot. Their chicken la parilla was amazing!

The flavor of the #26 was really good. My kids enjoyed the chicken strips with fries and bunless bacon burger with fries. I will done at this location again. There is a bar too.

IMHO the best Mexican food in La Plata County.

Excellent meals, customer service and atmosphere

First of all, everything tasted stale. Second of all, we were over-charged for what we got.If that weren't enough, they don't have a single vegetable on their menu. Want a vegetarian dish? Plate of beans. Oh, and that'll be $4.

The restaurant closes at 9 PM. We were really hungry after the mesaverda tours and got late as well and reached the restaurant at 9 PM . As per our experiences around this place we were sure that they will not take us in but thought of trying our luck. But the stuff welcomed us and took our orders to our pleasant surprise. We had chicken tacos .. those were good . I liked the way the chicken pieces tasted inside the taco. We also got chicken enchiladas m they were great too . It's just we didnt like the taste of complementary rice and beans . . Overall good ambience , good bar and they have a nice patio.

Excellent food and service. Very open area, outdoor seating available. Great atmosphere.

My husbands burrito was cold in the middle. Seemed understaffed. Will try again another time.

Tasty food and friendly service.

Been searching for an absolutely amazing pulled beef burrito/enchilada that I once had in San Antonio, TX years ago. Finally found one that surpassed it. Their Barbacoa pulled beef was phenomenal. Great stop on the way to Mesa Verde National Park. Only a few miles away. Also, for craft beer enthusiasts, they serve their local microbrewery's beers in bottles.

Great burritos, huge margaritas. Great service and value.

Great customer service and great eating environment!

It's been almost a year since we ate here but I was going through reviews I've left and realized I never left them one. We stayed in Mancos for a few days while were were in the area to visit Mesa Verde. This was the best meal we had while we were in town. The food was very good and the service was excellent!

Good service, friendly staff, tasty food. Reasonably priced.

Service was very slow to start but the food was great. We eventually had 3 servers to pick up the slack.

I have one eaten here once, but I highly recommend a healthy appetite and the Chicken Chimi.

Great cozy place in mancos. Fajitas were awesome. Great service.
